NEW CREATION TO SHARE

Well I know that this is not paper crafting but I am really enjoying this new little side line of mine!  I finished another couple of dolls over the weekend so I wanted to share these with you.

I loved the little wool felt jacket so I just had to make this doll.

I put some little ribbon bows in her hair and little lace and pearl necklace, cause she's a lady after all.

I then made a little fat angel using some pink wool felt this time.

Sorry if this is not your thing, but gotta say its becoming one of mine!

Thanks to everyone who has left some really lovely comments recently.  I try to get around to every one of your blogs (if you've got one) and check out what you've been up to, there really is some fab creations and inspiring stuff.  More cards on the way so pop back soon.

WEDDING WISHES

The weather today is truly awful - we've got torrential rain and its forecast to last the next day or so I took the opportunity to whip up a card - any excuse!

I was asked to make up a wedding card by a friend who loved the PTI images I used in some of my more recent posts but wanted something a little bigger.  Here is what I made....

Full view...

I used some Tilda patterned paper for the insert as it was double sided and the designs are lush and I used a smaller piece on the front to tie it all together.

The sentiment is from a couple of PTI sets I mixed together.

Have a good one.

A quickie post today.  I've been messing with the Cricut machine again!  This time a cutie little party hat card.

Said it was quick didn't I!  Thanks to checking in.
Happy Thursday everyone - weekends nearly here!

ITS BEEN NOTED

Thought I'd show you a close up of the note pads I made up for my craft fair a few weeks ago. They are so simple to make and they are a good use for all your scraps too!

These are all a mixture of PTI, DCWV, Tilda, American Crafts cardstock, papers, stamps and ribbon as well as Spellbinder & PTI dies.

I think my favourite is the the green and black butterfly one in the middle.

Also had to share a picture I took (in a hurry in case they moved!) of my dog Dylan and his
buddy Woody sleeping on the sofa - too cute.

Have a good day.

BERRY SORBET FEVER

My favourite colour by far, is PTI's Berry Sorbet.  Its just lush.  Today was a Berry Sorbet kinda day so I'm sharing a few cards using this as the main colour.

I used a spellbinder die to cut the white cardstock and embossed every other layer.  I stamped the background and added a few gems to the centre.

This one I used 'Guide Lines' (PTI) to make the background in snow white ink.

And finally.... I used Berry Sorbet ink for this one.  The embossed image is a Cuttlebug
embossing plate on textured cardstock and a little bit of blue for a change!

For some reason I feel like icecream - the icecream machine is on the go as I type, rum and raisin will be ready to gobble down in less than 30 minutes!  Cream, fruit and booze, what a combination - I'm drooling already.

Take care all and have  a fab day.

BABY GIRL CRIB

Following on from my original post on these cribs, I wanted to share my 'girlie' version with you.  I do find girls stuff much easier to do than boys/men stuff.

The reverse side of the crib.

The contents:-  A baby onsie, a little hat, socks and a dummy.

And finally, both the girl and boy crib all wrapped up and ready for some nice person to buy them!

I've really enjoyed making these.  They are so cute.

FINAL CRAFT FAIR PREP

Hi all and Happy Easter!

My craft fair is tomorrow so I wanted to share a couple of shots of my practice table layout.   Sorry they are a little dark.  I took these yesterday afternoon and it was pretty yuck outside - rainy and horrible!

I've scaled down the amount of stuff I normally take, mainly because the tables are a bit smaller at this event but also because I don't like to overcrowd it.

I saw something similar to these little things and I really fancied a go at them.  I bought the test tubes on ebay with the intention of putting mini eggs in them but the tubes are so narrow (they were the largest I could find!) they just would not fit, so I ended up using chocolate covered raisins instead.

I call this collection the 'poop range'!

The figures were all cut on my Cricut machine.

Well thats it so now.  Wish me luck for tomorrow!  Have a fab weekend - hope the sun comes out!

MY FINAL CRICUT CARD - FOR NOW AT LEAST

My final card for a while from this new cartridge (Straight from the Nest).  As the name suggests, this is a birds nest kinda card!

I stamped the background using a fab set from Martha Stewart which is all little leaves and branches and flowers and things.  I then cut the birds nest, eggs, branch and leaves using the Cricut.

I used some chalk to colour the edges of the white base card in blue and then stamped the sentiment (PTI).

OKAY - just one more and that's it I promise!  Another from this fab cartridge....

Thanks for popping in to see me!  Come back soon.
