One of our close friends had a birthday recently and he just LOVES Snickers! As a little pressie for him I bought and wrapped a months worth of Snicker bars so he doesn't have to go a day without one.
I also put a little quote on each one just to ring the changes.
I wrapped the box and added a large tag to the front...
and another on the inside.
He adored it! Sorry about the quality of the photos, I was in a real rush when I took them.
Another doll today. I decided to try a doll's wig for the hair this time. Although I like it, its too dark. Black just makes her look a little 'gothic' and moody so next time a lighter shade!
I was asked for a card of a little boy recently and this is what I came up with. I love the DP and image is pretty cool too.
I used a mixture of Copics, pencils and PanPastels to colour the image. I saw someone using PanPastels recently and I'd never heard of them before. I bought three in shades of blue to give it a try and they are FAB to work with. They are little pricey but they go a long way and are so easy to blend.
I stuck a couple of strips of thin double-sided tape to the patterned paper and then glittered over it and added a touch to the flame too.
Thought it was about time I tried out my PanPastels again, not used them for ages (since I bought them in fact!).
I am terrible for buying things on impulse and then either only using them once or putting them away and forgetting about them all together! I've put my PanPastels on my desk now where I can see them and reach them easily. They are so much easier to work with than ink and a blending tool - I do struggle to get a nice even coat with those but not with my pastels.
Let me introduce Bo Bo. I finished her a few weeks ago and I have not yet been able to part with her. I am planning a craft fair soon so I am very busy trying to get as many things made as possible, my craft room really looks a sight!
The jacket is made from heavy weight felt and with the scraps I punched out some flowers and layered them up.
Thanks for stopping by! I'm a 'mum' to a dappy dog, 4 chickens, 2 cats and a wife to a wonderful husband who allows me to indulge my spare time in my passion for all things paper, which for me is BLISS.
Hope you find something to inspire you. LEAVE ME A COMMENT it really makes my day! x
